I have the old model of this and after less than a year the handle broke. Granted I do use it almost daily but the cheap plastic design of the handle is silly. I will go to another model when I go shopping today.

We just got this new vacuum in the mail today and were very excited to check it out. I cleaned two rooms and though I am happy with the amount of pet hair, dust, dirt, etc. in the canister, it was heavy!!!! I’m cringing at the thought of doing stairs with it. The ease of dumping out the canister *almost* makes it up to me. Almost.

I gave this to my parents as a present. I wanted to something that’s comparable to Dyson in quality, but not in price. I read good reviews and decided to try on this monster. I took to it my parent’s house and vacuum the entire house. Afterwards, i became a believer, this thing does the same job that Dyson does. Easy to empty the dirt. All the good review you read about this product is all TRUE!!!

Normally, my 4 year old child has to be out of the house for me to do any vacuuming. She has an aversion to loud noises. I have tried at least half a dozen vacuums in the past 4 years. This is the first one that did not cause any tears. In fact, she was USING the vacuum cleaner! When I first showed the vacuum to her, she had her ears plugged in fear of the inevitable noise. She was shocked that it was relatively quiet. I’m not saying it makes no noise, but it makes very little noise.

We bought this vacuum locally rather than from Amazon. The assembly was easy and once my wife realized there was a separate switch to turn on the revolving brush it was easy to operate. The vacuum picked up dust and animal hair like crazy even though the carpet had been vacuumed with our old vac two days before. She shut it down to check the contents of the tank and when she stepped on the pedal to release the handle from the upright position, the pedal broke off. The plastic arm on one side had snapped in half making it inoperable. When she removed the tank to empty it she found a large crack in the plastic tank holder. We are returning the vacuum for a refund and will look for another brand. One would expect a vacuum in this price range to function longer than a half hour before it breaks.
